Greetings and welcome to Willow's World of Jewels featuring Ryan's Exquisite Designs. Here you will find truly unique, gallery-worthy jewelry designs, created and handmade by Ryan and Willow. What sets us apart from the rest of the jewelry designers you find on the web? We have a passion for specializing in gemstones that are Rare, Beautiful, and Unusual, and incorporate such gems into creative and sometimes elaborate works of wearable art. These are truly heirloom pieces, which will be passed on for generations. All of our designs are of our own creation, thereby ensuring unparalleled jewelry as unique as you are.

All of our jewelry is created using the highest quality materials available. We hand-select all our stones based on values of color, form, and durability. Some of our gems are purchased ready-made as beads, and some beads we make ourselves in our lapidary studio. Our particular fondness is for gemstones not common in the jewelry trade- Sugilite, Richterite, Dianite, Seraphinite, Charoite, Pietersite, Labradorite, Kyanite...hmrnm, looks like we like the "ites"! The foundations of the pieces are based on what is termed ''findings''- the behind-the-scenes elements that hold the pieces together. We use Accu-Flex professional grade beading wire, which is super-strong and durable, with great flexibility. Sterling Silver, Bali Silver (which has a higher silver-content than sterling), Vermeil Gold (22k gold heavily electroplated over sterling silver), and Gold-Filled components hold the jewelry together. All our earwires are Surgical Steel or Gold-Plate over Surgical Steel, which are hypo-allergenic and compatible with a large percent of those with metal allergies.

Here as well you may find what we call "Gemstone Gift Items"- an assortment of mineral specimens, carvings, and unusual pieces we have collected in our travels. We will also be offering pieces from our Lapidary Studio, whether they be in the form or Cabachons, Beads, or Carvings. And finally, there is a section devoted to random things we have for sale...right now we have a huge selection of old and/or rare books to go through, and will be offering some for sale on this website.
